PM : OppositionNo need for Court

Prime Minister Peter O’Neill saysthe setting up of asylum centre in Manus province is in compliance withthPNG constitution.

His comment comes in response tothe opposition’s scrutiny ofthe Australian run detention center.

Mr O’Neill saidthere is no need to takethe matter to court.

Meantime, Prime Minister O’Neill said Australia is looking for a permanent processing site for asylum seekers.

The government is looking at convertingthe current one into a permanent regional center.
