DigicePNG opened its upgraded store in Downtown Port Moresby yesterday, and customers wanting to bethe first to get served inthe newly opened facility, swarmedthe entrance as soon asthe ribbon was cut.
“This is our latest concept store in Papua New Guinea It’s got all our latest product and services. Every Handsetotablets and laptop we have here are all live. The customer experience is much more real and tangible,” said Damian Berne, Head of Retail-Digicel Pacific.
“We have a team of people under one roof who are able to bringthese products and services alive, And, more importantly to identify our customers’ needs smarter than before,” he said.
The launch also showcased some ofthe self service areas withthe latest touch screen technology to assist customers choose a productotop up phone accounts, and order SIM card replacements.
With some ofthe latest handsets going for incredibly cheap prices, customers walked away with gadgets oftheir dream, withthe first 200 exiting with a Digicel backpack and rugby ball signed by players ofthe 2013 Digicel Cup grand finalistoPort Moresby SNS Vipers.
The products sold have 3 months warranty as long asthe customer keepsthe receipt andthe packages safe.
