Mungkas Football Club took sweet revenge against Rapatonas, claimingthe 2013 Womenrsquo;s’ Super League title in Port Moresby.
It was a tight tussle of 2 all into full time, but Mungkas managed to findthe back ofthe net once to raisethe bar.
Underthe scorching Port Moresby heat,the 2013 Super League Womenrsquo;s competition kicked off. Mungkas in green took on Rapatona in yellow.
Mungkas withthe minor premiership title on hand were class oftheir own asthey madetheir way on tothe field.
Rapatona meant business with much anticipation to provertheir worth. The ladies in yellow were not new onthe field and brought along a wealth of experience.
Beth team fought hard to findthe back ofthe net. Game plans were well executed inthe first stanza ofthe match livingthe scoreboard 2- 1 in favor of Mungkas.
Extra minutes were given saw Mungkas sealed offthe match with a goal at 3-2, baggingthe 2013 Womenrsquo;s Super League title.
