POM Men’s Softball train-on squad trialed

The Port Moresby Men’s train-on squad tothe National Softball Championships held selection trials overthe weekend.

There will be two teams representing Port Moresby atthe championships in Kavieng fromthe 29th March tothe 01st of April.

Set for the Easter weekend in Kavieng,the Port Moresby Men’s softball squads is a blend of youth and experience and are hungry for the major title.

The Championships will be utilised bythPNG Softball Federation to selectthPNG Men’s & Womenrsquo;s National Softball Teams for the 2015 Pacific Games.

POM selectors have included a couple of promising youngsters who will be vying to impress selectors including Brown Eagles trio Clement Okole, Graham Kinavai, Martin ToAlbert.

After holdingthe Champions mantle for the last couple of years, Port Moresby Men’s team werethe runners up to Lae in last year’s Championships staged in Madang and aim to go one better by taking outthe Champions tag this year.
