Papua New Guinearsquo;s involvement withtheIndonesian government will encompassthe concerns and welfare of West Papuans.
Prime Minister Peter O’Neill when signingthe action plan withIndonesia in Beli,the national government had in mindthe West Papuan people.
Mr. O’Neill said inthese bilateral tiesPNG will work on addressingtheir concerns.
“We tookthe opportunity to sign a plan of action onthe comprehensive partnership that is now going to manage all this MOU’s and activities betweenthe two countries, particularly in trading investments and our involvement in West Papua,” said O’Neill.
“The idea is to participate in economic development of West Papua and liftthe standard of living for our people onthe ther side ofthe boarder,” O’Neill added.
