Women Touch hard at training

PNG Open Womenrsquo;s touch team is hard at training to secure a spot inthe final team for Queensland tournament early next month.

Coach Augustine Aisi is optimistic for a strong team.

 

The ladies has one aim in mind is to secure a spot inthe final team for the Queensland State tournament.

 

They know what to expect fromthe coach and were out on field displaying allthe skillsthey possessed.

 

The team combination was fromthe recent national trials held in Goroka.

 

Joylyn Tiko, Moryn Benje, Patiyoko Apiganas and Mary Marlon were selected fromthe Madang side atthe trials. Only two Kainantu players were also selected.

 

Coach Augustine Aisi said this is notthe final team. He has set conditions to assessthe girls going through intothe final squad.

 

Queensland state touch tournament will be held early next month.
