The 2013 Digicel National Netball Championships will be attended by Associations in all regions ofthe country.
The strongest Contingent will come fromthe Southern region to compete inthe Championships, hosted bythe Motu Koita West Netball Association.
Over two thousand junior players and over 1, 500 senior netball players are expected at this year’s National Netball Championships.
The annual National Netball Championships is what netballers throughoutthe country look forward to.
The event is about re-establishing and strentheningthe bond inthe code of netball.
“This Championships this year is very important because it gives usthe opportunity to look at our talent Identification program as we work towardsthe 2015 Pacific Games,” said Julianne.
“This sort of support gives us more value and we are more determined to really get those talented netballers right throughoutthe country to attend.”
“I believe that if we have a good mix inthe national team, we arethere to win Gold.”
Digicel is a strong supporter of sports inthe Pacific and has been sponsorin PNG Netball since 2012.
Digicel will assistthPNG Netball Federation in staging several activities starting withthe National Champs in September andthe Pepes participation at international events.
