Ok Tedi observes Nationwide Haus Krai

Ok Tedi mining township of Tabubil observedthe Nationwide Haus Krai with support from schools andthe OTML management who spared an hour to pay respect to women inthe country.

All female employees and contractors were given an hour to attend tothe gthering inthe township.

Students fromthe Tabubil and Wangbin Primary schools and Tabubil high school ledthe procession with placards and demonstrated throughthe township.

The women and girls were dressed in red and black colours signifyingthe pain and suffering women have experienced in PNG from physical and verbal abuse.

They said to continue echoingthe concern to end all forms of violence against women and girls inthe township daily.
