Prime Minister, Peter O’Neill has made strong commitments to the people of Simbu Province.

Speaking at the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Simbu Polytechnic Institute on December 2, 2016, the Prime Minister said that funding will be allocated to various projects such as the Bromil High School, Gumine-Karamui road stretch, and other road and bridge projects.

The Prime Minister also announced a major upgrade on the Highlands Highway.

“We will launch the program on the Highlands highway. We will start with the four-lane road starting from Mount Hagen.”

“Our focus is to fix the road here in Simbu Province. It’s not a small amount of money so we have to begin work to ensure we deliver the outcomes.”
