National Haus Krai: Women Testify Abuse

TheWomen Arise‘Haus Krai’ demonstration continued all throughthe nightodetermined for their voice to be heard.

It was a quiet yet powerful night astheWomen Ariseorganisers gthered withthe supporters attheir Haus Krai, demanding an end to violence against women.

Amongthe supporters last night – Opposition Leader Be den Namah gave his support tothe cause.

Showing his support,the Opposition Leader pledged his commitment for stronger Lawsto take effectobringing law breakers to justice and endingthe high rise of violent crimesthe nation has currently been experiencing.

Demonstrators in ther centres from Tabubil, Madang and Alotau among many thers – including international haus krai’s in Australia, Europe andthe United States, were all united duringthese two days – sending waves of pressure tothe Parliament House.

The Haus Krai broughtthe attention of dignitaries and members of parliamentoasthey continued to showtheir support tothe moverment.
