PNG Power Limited has vowed to deliver efficient electricity tothe people as part of its 50 years anniversary.
It also acquired its new look corporate uniform to boostthe performance of its staff.
The 50 years anniversary logo andthe corporate uniform were launched on Tuesday.
The logo depictsthe transition fromthethen Electricity Commission or ELCOM tPNG Power Limited. It hasthe slogan Powerin PNG intothe Future.
PNG Power Limited would ride on this slogan as it’strives to deliver efficient electricity to its consumers.
Acting Chief Executive Officer oPNG Power Limited John Tangit’says a robust maintenance program is being carrlied out on its equipments inthe country.
He says load shedding is currently happening in Port Moresby but this will be resolved.
PNG power is also looking at renewable energy throughthe use of solar systems to bring services tothe rural areas.
Meanwhile, Mr. Tangit’says all matters relating to its unions have been resolved. He saysthe management oPNG Power will not tolerate such union actions as it is bad for investments.
