Some promising work has begun onthe Taurama Aquatic Centre in preparation for the 2015 Pacific Games.
The Centre will include 6 multi-purpose indoor courtogymnasium, studios and entertainment areas.
The multimillion Kina state ofthe art facility under Global Construction Company will be transformed into an Aquatic centre and indoor sports complex with one Olympic size pool, a twenty five meter warm up pool, six multi-purpose courts and a gymnasium.
Visible groundwork and heavy machinery wasthe sight today atthe former Taurama Leisure Centre.
The Sir Donald swimming pool has been drained making way for maintenance.
Work is expected to be completed in 2014.
