MV Sylvan on Health patrol

The Lake Murray Health patrol system was recently opened in Western Province.

Health patrols will be carrlied out by MV Sylvan, which has a fully equipped health clinic.

Health services will be provided bythe Catholic Church’s Callan Services, Oil Search Health Foundation and staff of Beboa Health Centre.

The health patrols are scheduled to visitthe 21 lake villages four times each year.

Services include immunization, antenatal services and disease control programs for malaria, TBrand HIV and AIDS.
