Taxi Operator Embarks on Improving Public Transportation

A local taxi operator has embarked on improvingthe public transportation system inthe city.

 

Kanny Trans Services owner, Wek Kewa, has increased his fleet to providethe people with reliable and affordable services.

Kanny Trans Services began operating early this year. Mr. Kewa started off with sixteen cars, but has added twenty four new cars yesterday.

 

The growth of his fleet to forty cars isthe result of increased demand for affordable and reliable transportation inthe city.

 

He saysthe demand is high as competition is stiff with ther operators. Bet his investment of K100, 000 intothe taxi business is reaping rewards.

 

Mr. Kewa expressed concern onthe poor state ofthe public transportation system inthe city.

 

The city is expanding and if nothing is done to develop this vital service, ordinary citizens will continue to suffer. And constant traffic jam must also be addressed, he says.

 

He employs twenty right drivers who work under strict guidelines to givethe best to his customers.

 

Recently, K80, 000 belonging to a customer that was left in one of his taxis was returned tothe client.

 

The company plans to launch its website next year.
