An officer suspended overthe escape of notorious WilliamKapris and two thers has produced letters which warned ofthe loop holes in security at Bemana Jail.
The officer alleged that he has been made a scapegoat of management failures.
Mr. Tamoko stated thatthe very sensitive and high profile crime activities by WilliamKapris atthe Bemana prison are threat tothe National security ofthe country and could drain millions of kina fromthe government.
He also released a report to Correctional Service Minister Jim Simatab on his role in investigatingthe murder of prisoner Shane Aitsi and also appealed against his transfer from Bemana prison.
Allthese he claimed were an attempt to stop him from exposing corruption withinthe Correctional Service.
Mr. Tamoko has been serving asthe acting manager for security operation atthe Bemana prison for seven years but is now suspended for five months.
According tothe Commissioner, Martin Belthasar, SeniorInspector Job Tamoko breachedthe provisions of section 93 (1) (a) and (b) by publicly commenting onthe administration of Correctional service throughthe media.
Tamoko says this is injustice to himself and his fellow officers who keptKapris under control overthe past two years sinceKapris returned fromthe Madang BeP Bank Robbery trial.
Tamoko wants justice done and has called onthe government to act now.
