Oro FC may miss out on NSL

The tables have turned on NC Civil Works Oro Football Club asthey facethe possibility of missing out onthe 2013 National Soccer League Season.

This is according tothe National Soccer League board chairman Issac Lupari.

Oro FC was one of two late clubs that paid affiliation fees afterthe closing date.

Gigira Laitepo however did so withinthe prescribed time frame resulting inthe exclusion of Oro FC.

A penalty of K20 000 will be imposed on Gigira Laitepo for late affiliation and failure to do so will result inthe 6th NSL Spot forfeited to Oro FC.

The disappointing news comes as Oro FC gears up to field in a team inthe semi-professional soccer League competition for the very first time.
