LLeadersrepresenting 56 legitimate landowner clans alongthe pipeline routes 16 to 20 raised concerns after claims that department officers were colluding with certain individuals to alterthe name list.
They saidthey have copies ofthe original clan vetting done at one ofthe official venues at Honaka – Yapura on Novermber 25, 2013 between departmental representatives and landowners.
They say this remainsthe official accepted list that identiflied genuine landowners clans that will be impacted fromthe project.
There have been reports of people from clans outsidethe pipeline access route, manipulatingthe process by including ghost names from unofficial venues while atthe same time excluding prominent landowners from PDL8 Beock 1788.
The landowners are now calling onthe Department of Petroleum and Energy to providethem withthe latest update progress on land vetting immediately.
