The official arrest’Order for Mitie Katu, the former partner of Australian Captain, Fred Martens, has now been delayed for two weeks.
This is because the two police officers, who were supposed to provide stateMen’s for the arrest to be effected, failed to do so.
Mitie Katu is said to have provided false information that is preventing Captain Fred Martens' from gaining custody of his children.
The formal arrest was delayed till today.
The arrest is based on an act of Perjury, which was taken by the former partner Mitie Katu, who told police officers that captain Martens entered PNG without proper travel docuMen’s with the intention to steal the two boys, and fly them to Australia.
The seven years drama is far from over, on Monday, the acting Head Teacher from Sacred Heart Primary released a statement saying the boys have been denied formal education.
The statement confirmed that the boys cannot speak proper English, and can only respond in Tok Pisin or their local Language.
It’s been thirty days since the two boys were taken off their father and are now living with the welfare officers.
The St John’s Clinic has also released stateMen’s confirming that the boys were examined at the Clinic on June 23.
The reports stated that the two boys have been abused and neglected physically and mentally, and there were symptoms from trauma.
Attempts to get comMen’s from the Child Welfare officers in Port Moresby were unsuccessful.
