The PNG Chamber of Mines and Petroleum has welcomed the government’s right to do a taxation review, as outlined in the country’s money plan.
President Dr. Ila Temu says the government needs to consider the current down turn being experienced globally when looking at taxation.
He made the comments at a media briefing in Port Moresby over the weekend.
