Papua New Guinea’s Department of Personnel Management will continue to support and provide technical assistant to the Autonomous Region of Bougainville.
Secretary of the Department of Personnel Management, John Kali, said that more assistance will be given to the Bougainville Public Service.
Mr Kali was speaking at the launching of the department’s website recently where he emphasised for all departmental heads to have executed contracts to improve on key result areas.
Mr Kali said that since the powers and functions of the public services were transferred from Waigani to the Autonomous Bougainville Government; the National Government has continued to provide assistance.
“We also not forget our brothers and sisters in the Autonomous Region of Bougainville. We have established a great deal of support and we will continue to provide them with this same support,”
“The Bougainville Public Service is just young and will provide where necessary and needed,” he said.
