The Vodafone Fiji 7s team is on a mission and determined to win the HSBC Sevens World Series in the Glasgow 7s this weekend.
The team departed for Glasgow on Saturday coached by Ben Ryan with high hopes of surpassing South Africa on the series points table ahead of the final tournament, in London next weekend.
Weather and time difference will not be an obstacle in the team’s path to win their second series title, said Ryan.
With temperatures expected to drop below five degree Celsius and with showers forecasted, Mr Ryan says good teams should not worry about interference like that, as cold as Scotland was last year, the boys will be wrapped up warm and that they always take care of cold.
The team has so far won three titles in the series including Gold Coast 7s, Las Vegas 7s and Hong Kong 7s and sits on the second position with125 points behind South Africa who leads the series with 129 points.
Fiji heads group C with hosts Scotland, Wales and Portugal.
