New Administration Block for Gaulim Teacher’s College

The Gaulim Teachers College in East New Britain Province will now have an administration building for the first time in over 10 years, thanks to the son of a former lecturer.

The college has been operating without an administration block for the last 14 years, since the first administration building was destroyed by fire in 2000.

Gaulim Teachers College is located in the Gazelle District of East New Britain Province.

The college is one of the first and oldest institutions in the nation, established to train primary school teachers.

It was built by the United Church during the colonial era.

Most of its infrastructure is run down, and it has been a long while since they have been upgraded.

There is a double classroom, but due to lack of building facilities in the college, the administration was forced to convert this classroom into an administration block.

It became the engine room for the school, and from it, all operational business for the college were carried out.

The new administration building is built at the cost of over K30 000.

This will be a double story building that is expected to be completed next month.

Once completed, it will have a big conference room, lectures’ offices, a kitchen and ablution blocks.

It will be named after the former principle Bob Beeva.

The college has also seen an extension of 4 meters tiles to its library, mess floors, and new roofs were installed in the girl’s dormitories.

The school still needs a proper science block, more computers for its IT laboratory, and text books for both lecturers and students.
