One person is seriously injured and two others traumatised after the 15-seater Toyota HiAce bus they were travelling in overturned along a section of the freeway in Port Moresby.
EMTV News arrived at the scene a few minutes later and spoke to the driver.
“I was travelling along the freeway from Konedobu Court House after solving some family matters, picked up two female passengers.
“On our way, a passing vehicle bumped into the vehicle back and forced us over the road causing the vehicle to overturn,” she said.
The others sustained minor injuries because both were protected by seat belt however, the other woman passenger sustained serious injuries.
Meanwhile, identification of the suspects is not known and police are still investigating the cause of this accident.
