Tuberculosis (TB) is still the world’s most infectious killer, and millions of people in most parts of the world are dying because of this curable disease.
The TB community gathered in Cape Town, South Africa, last year were the Red Arrow – a symbol of solidarity for a world without TB was unveiled.
The red arrow symbolises a goal to see a world without TB and represents an unwavering commitment to move forward with this mission until this goal can be achieved.
Developed with the input of thousands of partners in the TB community, the red arrow belongs to no single organisation, person, tagline, or agenda.
March 24 is World TB Day, a day intended to build public awareness about tuberculosis, by helping to educate others about TB and by urging governments to take action in the fight against this epidemic.
This year purchase a red arrow and support the cause – Unite to End TB.
