A total of 42 students from the Rumginae Community Health Worker Training School, in Kiunga Western Province, recently graduated with Health Worker Certificates.
The graduation ceremony saw families, friends and invited guests in attendance.
The graduands have successfully completed 2 years of studies, despite COVID-19 challenges and financial constraints.
According the school principal, they were able to complete their training with financial support from Ok Tedi Development Foundation, Fly River Provincial Government and other stakeholders.
The principal further congratulate the graduands, saying the country is in need of health workers, amidst the COVID 19 pandemic.
He says there is a need for man power in most rural areas in the country, to help deliver better health services.
The graduands were also urged to do their best to serve the country.
