Business leaders around the APEC region remain confident that their company’s revenues will grow over the next 12 months despite increasing trade frictions.
The Pricewaterhouse Coopers comment comes on the back of an ANZ report that presents a positive outlook for 2018 and 2019.
A total of 1189 businesses from around the APEC Economies were surveyed.
84 from PNG with the consensus that 35% of businesses were very confident of revenue growth with a net 51 percent planning to increase investments over the next year.
Despite being faced with foreign exchange shortage in the recent years, PNG businesses continue to strengthen their confidence from a stuttering 10 percent in 2015 to a 35 percent confidence level this year.
According to PwC PNG Senior Partner Jonathan Seeto stemed from the resilience of PNG CEOs in navigating the diverse challenges they were faced with in PNG.
