Since the Rugby World Seven’s Cup in San Francisco, players around the country will now have to prepare, to earn a spot in this year’s Oceania 7’s qualifiers in Suva, Fiji in November.
PNG Rugby Football Union will host a selection trial event in mid-October, to identify and scout potential talents into the train-on Squad for both the PNG Pukpuks and Palais.
New players selected for both the men’s and women’s national teams will take part in the two-day event, which kicks start on Wednesday 10th October to 11th October in Suva, Fiji.
