PNG Swimming hosts First Ever Swimming Camp

PNG Swimming Inc hosted its first ever swimming camp in Port Moresby for the BSP National Squad that took place on the 25th to 30th of June in Port Moresby.

The main aim of the BSP camp was to provide a swimming program that allowed twenty-two BSP National Aquatic Excellence squad members in the country to have fun while learning the latest techniques in swimming.

The camp delivered the best opportunity for the swimmers to improve their swimming in a positive and healthy learning environment.

Program coordinators Greg Fasala and Adam Hosking from West Brisbane Aquatics, in Australia, managed the program. This was with the aim to encourage and motivate the swimmers to prepare well for the 12th Oceania Championships.

The program ended of July first closing with FINA World Aquatics Day Water Polo competition.

PNG will host the 12th Oceania Swimming Championships, in Port Moresby from 25th – 30th June 2018.
