Defence Force ex-servicemen camping outside Igam Barracks say they are still waiting for their repatriation.
EMTV News Lae visited the ex-soldiers at their makeshift shelters, outside Igam Barracks main gate, this morning.
The families at the camp say life is hard while living under tents, since being evicted two years ago, under a Retrenchment Exercise by the Force.

Although the families are supported on pensions, they say it is not enough,
These families are part of the Defence Resizing exercise in the early 2000s.
It has taken over one decade for the servicemen to gain the attention of the Defence Force Hierarchy.
Many of these ex-soldiers will not see the fruits of their labour.
The family of the late Retired Sergeant Jerry Apu, lost their father in 2012, since then daughter, Esther, has held the fort, also waiting.
For these Men of valour, they will wait in vain.
