A public sector training on tendering and procurement is underway for government officers in Morobe Province.
The 3-day training, which started yesterday,teaches the methods and procedures used when procuring goods and services using public funds.
There is one procurement system and is subdivided into two parts; the minor and the major.

The major procurement system is currently controlled and regulated by the Central Supplies and Tenders Board.
