The festive season is a time to be enjoyed with family and friends, the youth at NBC 5 mile enjoyed the sports program which was sponsored by Carl Okuk.
He donated a total of K35,000 for the youth of Erima and 5 Mile. The sports program sees the youth play volleyball and Touch Rugby.
Okuk said through avenues such as sports, this will keep the youth occupied and out of trouble.
By engaging in sport, the youths are kept away from creating problems and it creates a better environment within the community and the suburbs where they live in.
Mr Okuk has taken the initiative to host Christmas games in all local communities of Port Moresby North East, allowing the communities to participate and play.
The youths from the area, are grateful for the initiative which Mr Okuk has delivered, and are enjoying their festive sports program.
