PNG’s number one swimming sensation and gold medalist, Ryan Pini, has announced the 2015 Pacific Games will be his last as a competitive swimmer.
Ryan revealed this during an interview for EM TV’s Sports Scene program.
He spoke about his past and recent events, along with his preparations for the upcoming national and international championships, which include the 2015 Pacific Games.
Pini said he followed in his father’s footsteps by being committed and passionate about swimming, which made him the person he is today.
He spoke about the swimming championships he has attended so far this year. A recent one of these was the Oceania Championships, held in New Zealand.
Mr. Pini also discussed his preparations for other international events and the 2015 Pacific Games. He spoke more about his swimming career and what he has achieved over the years.
Recently back from his Oceania Championships in New Zealand, Pini is still training and juggling work at the same time.
