An American-Based church leader has commended Papua New Guinea for its religious freedom.
Seventh Day Adventist world leader, Pastor Ted Wilson, said he’s grateful to know that Papua New Guineans still uphold their Christian values.
Pastor Wilson made these comments during his arrival in Port Moresby today. He was accompanied by wife Nancy.
Speaking in the media conference, Pastor Wilson commended the PNG Government for religious freedom.
He also challenged the MPs to fairly serve the people.
At the Jack Pidik Park, Pastor Wilson was given a guard of honor.
While addressing followers, Pastor Wilson challenged them to respect the seventh day and refrain it from materialistic past times.
Pastor Wilson will be conducting nightly meetings with the Adventists at the Jack Pidik Park, under the theme ‘Immortal decisions’.
