Women in sports, was a key point of discussion during the Money in Sports conference in Gold Coast, Australia.
A panel of four speakers discussed the involvement of all women in sports, and how women are qualified to do similar jobs as their male counterparts.
Vickie Saunders, Cassandra Heilbronn, Tanya Gallina and Kym Aust-Howlett, were the four female panelists whom were treated to an array of sports related questions from their male counterparts.
The panel members came from different backgrounds, and experiences in sports-from off field, to sports administration, and on field. They are well versed in their respective areas of expertise.
Vickie Saunders, Founder of Sponsorship Consultant Australia says, women should challenge themselves in order to grow in the business, and should not doubt themselves. She says her experience in the business in the three years has shaped her to overcome challenges and that taking risk in life is sometimes will only help you grow stronger in whatever you choose to do.
