WFA Builds Classroom for Pulpulu Elementary School

Parents, teachers and students of Pulpulu Elementary School in the new Matalai Local Level Government (LLG) in Namatanai have recently welcomed the launch of a new double classroom.

The Chief Executive Officer of Walters Farming Association (WFA), Walter Schnaubelt, accompanied by various LLG Presidents of Namatanai District including Matalai, Tanir, Namatanai Rural and Sentral Niu Ailan converged at Titigo Primary School to witness the official opening.

The new double classroom was built at a cost of over K20,000 from counterpart funding between the Matalai LLG (K10,000) and WFA (K10,100).

Schnaubelt, in launching the double classroom, said the plan and decision to assist to build the classroom was made long before to cater for the increasing infrastructure needs of the LLG.

“I’m happy to be part of this celebration to officially open the double classroom for the elementary school here. That dream we had before to build a classroom has become a reality now,” Schnaubelt said.

He added that the decision he took to assist build the classroom through WFA was based on his eagerness and community responsibility as a community leader.

Schnaubelt also called on the provincial and district governments to stop politicking and fund the new Matalai LLG administration centre so it can carry out basic government services and development agendas in the area.
