Vanama NCVDA 2015 Champions

The NCD volleyball association went into the grand final of their season yesterday at the new Taurama Aquatic Centre.

The finals began with the A grade division, with Yumi Yet taking on the Grass Hoppers.

In an entertaining match, Yumi Yet hung on to the crowned champions title in the men’s A Grade Division.

In the women’s grand final, Vanama Tech went head to head with the Scorpions.

Both sides were evenly matched boasting some National Representatives.

In a hard hitting affair, Vanama held on to win the match three sets to one.

And in the main fixture of the day, the mens division saw again Vanama tech take on Scorpions. Both teams had two of PNG’s National setters Gia Kapa and Ula Gima head to head in the setting department.

The match began with both teams neck to neck, but in the end Vanama converted their opportunities to points, winning comfortably three sets to one crowed NCVDA 2015 Champions.
