Terrorism considered a ‘direct risk’ to Economic Growth

The Counter-Terrorism working group concluded their discussions on Wednesday, February 27 at the APEC Senior Officials Meeting.

Terrorism is considered a ‘hard’ threat and is a key priority for the member economies as it poses a direct risks to APEC’s vision of secure, open and prosperous economies.

Cooperation and strategic partnership are frequently used terms at the Counter-Terrorism Working Group, which concluded discussions today.

Participants from member economies shared their experiences on the topic and formed a on a work plan for 2018 and a strategic work plan for 2018-2022.
