Telikom PNG has joined other members of the Business Community in lending support towards the Kadovar Relief.
Telikom PNG Staff through the Telikom Foundation have set up a relief box at their Waigani Headquarters for the Kadovar-Biem Volcano Relief.
Acting Telikom C.E.O, Xavier Victor was on hand yesterday during the Launch of the Kadovar-Biem Relief appeal at the Telikom Headquarters.
“We are National Company and I commend the staff and Telikom Foundation for this initiative,” said Mr Victor.
The appeal was initiated by Telikom Staff and Management.
Mr Victor recognised the urgent need for basic supplies like food, clothing and hygiene products, while making mention of the long term work for resettlement on mainland East Sepik.
“The immediate plan is for the essential items be packed and have the place prepped.”
Cash donations are encouraged to be deposited in the designated Kadovar Relief Bank Account set up by the East Sepik Provincial Government.
