The PNG Table Tennis Federation under the Government funded “Go For Gold” program is currently hosting an International Table Tennis Coaching course.
Held at the PNGIPA in Port Moresby, the 4 day coaching clinic is to enhance Table Tennis knowledge among players, coaches and administrators.
The course is being conducted by Mr. Michael Brown, the ITTF Oceania Development Officer, based in Melbourne, Australia.
The course started on Monday and will end on Thursday with a PNG Open Championships soon to follow on Friday December 14th.
Players will be selected from the championships to form part of the table tennis elite training squad in the build up to the 2015 Pacific Games.
