Squad Named for Melanesian Cup Against Fiji

Head Coach of the Agmark Gurias, Steven Nightingale, has named a 20-man squad for the Melanesian Cup clash against Fiji’s Sabeto Roosters.

The squad sees the inclusion of the experienced Pidi Tongap, Kumuls Captain, Albert Patak and Watson Boas.

Nightingale has also called in Jason Missian and youngsters Joe Tabutabu Jr, Samuel Hamari and Lance Kuveu.

Both Kuveu and Tabutabu Jr. have had a number of game time under their belts this season, although they missed out on the final line-up for the Inter-city Cup grand final clash against the Simbu Lions.

The Squad boasts both young blood and experience.

The squad will be trimmed down to a 17-man team before the clash, set for Saturday the 10th of October at the Sir John Guise Stadium

Tickets will be on sale at all Stop-and- Shop outlets in Port Moresby.
