Sports Minister calls for corporate partnership to complete Sir Hubert Murray Stadium

The incomplete Sir Hubert Murray Stadium has raised concerns among the general public as to when the stadium will be completed, and why the construction has stopped.

Sports Minister Justin Tkatchenko has approached business houses to partner with the government to get the construction completed so that it can be utilised for big sporting events.

Tkatchenko says under his leadership he will push this agenda, so that the facility can be completed for the benefit of the people of Papua New Guinea, and sports in the country.

For now the Sir Hubert Murray Stadium remains closed with not much happening. The stadium costs about K40 million.
