The softball competition got under way today at the Bisini softball diamonds. The diamonds one and three saw the women take to the ovals to defend their teams.
The Women’s B grade saw Chebu and Gazelle in diamond one and diamond three saw Wantoks take on Admiralty.
The Women’s B Grade competition between Admiralty in Blue and White, and Wantoks in purple and green, saw Admiralty coming out winners 8 points to 4, over wantoks.
In the other women’s match Gazelle in white and red on the much fast and experienced Chebu women’s team in the Blue and Yellow. With experience and fast hit outs Chebu ran away to a 16 points lead leaving Gazelle with nil score.
