Simbu Governor at Gov’t coalition camp after election recount

Recently declared  Governor for Simbu Michael Dua Bogai joined the Government coalition  at the Crowne Hotel this morning as they met ahead of this afternoons Parliament sitting.

The United Resources Party Member had  was  declared after a court-ordered election  recount polling issues.

“The court will make the final decision on Thursday…I haven’t done anything, I haven’t hijacked the process too. I am transparent”

Dua affirmed his commitment to the URP stating he would be loyal and follow the direction of the party.

“I’m a party man, I maintain my integrity, I am with URP so I cannot leave the Party and go anywhere else, I have to respect that”

The Governor says the recount has shown he is the ‘rightful and mandated leader’ of Simbu and when asked about the Parliament sitting, he responded by saying “Of course I will be in Parliament, I am the current Governor of Simbu Province”

The United Resources Party Leader William Duma is also at the Crowne Camp as coalition talks continue.
