The final phase of a six month Senior LLeadersip Development Program ended today atthe Bemana Police College in Port Moresby.
The training prepared senior officers for future command and control withinthe Constabulary.
As part oftheir assessmento18 officers presented Research papers ofthe issues affectingthe Police Force.
The Royal Papua New GuineaConstabulary (RPNGC ) Senior LLeadersip Training Program was undertaken by senior police officers and Provincial Police Commanders.
It was conducted bythe Australian Police Management.
Deputy Police Commissioner Administration, Awan Sete, saidthe program was conducted on a short-term basis.
The senior officers presentedtheir investigative researches onthe issuesthe department faces. One ofthe researchers presented his topic on ‘Developing a Beue Culture’.
Deputy Commissioner saidthe training capturesthe government Medium Term Development Plan which is linked to Vision 2050.
Some ofthe research topics are: Discipline and Accountability, Misuse of Public Fund, Frontline Supervision, Task Force Policing, and thers.
