Threats issued by resource owners of the PNG LNG Project have prompted the Prime Minister Peter O’Neill to visit Hela this week. Twice this year the landowners tried shutting down the Gas Conditioning Plant in Hides. Leading these protests are landowners from Hides PDL 1 and 7.
And, Papua New Guinea National Fisheries Authority is confident that the fisheries industry in PNG will be able to align its activities to the Roadmap for Sustainable Pacific Fisheries.
