The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup has received support from National Flag Carrier, Air Niugini.
General Manager, Customers and Markets, Dominic Kaumu, says Air Niugini will support with air travel discounts, and other promotional activities.
In a recent meeting with FIFA officials, Mr Kaumu said Air Niugini was honored to be associated with the renowned international football tournament.
“Air Niugini is honored to be associated with the renowned international football tournament. We thank FIFA for the opportunity to be a National Supporter for the first ever FIFA event hosted in Papua New Guinea.”
FIFA Head of Women’s Football, Tatjana Haenni, thanked Air Niugini’s support will make a strong contribution to the success of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup across Papua New Guinea.
“We are very pleased to welcome Air Niugini as the first National Supporter of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. National Supporters play a crucial role in our events particularly in the promotion of the tournament to local audiences.
“We are certain that Air Niugini as a National Supporter will make a strong contribution to the success of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup across Papua New Guinea.”
