The Police Training College has expanded its training programs into provincial towns.
Last week, police personnel in the Milne Bay and Manus Provincial Commands, completed weeks long of training on Frontline Supervision.
In Manus, at least four police women were among the 30 officers who were engaged in the training.
Frontline Supervision is a refresher course that focuses on the management skills of a supervisor, especially those that have other officers working under them.
Other provincial commands that underwent the training include: Gulf, Eastern Highlands and West Sepik.
Due to the the increase of public criticism against the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary, such training is aimed at developing individual police officers to improve RPNGCs image.
