PNG National Party began its Southern region campaign in Northern Province.
PNGNP Parliamentary leader, Kerenga Kua visited Popondetta to support two of its candidates, prominent constitutional lawyer Erastus Kamburi and Senior Public Servant Kible Bonga.
Kamburi is running for the Ijivitari seat while Bonga for Sohe.
Party leader Kerenga Kua gave a rundown of PNGNP’s relationship with Northern Governor Gary Juffa. “We need leaders like Gary Juffa to help move the country forward for the small people,” said Kua.
Kua said people must vote leaders who can fight for the small people. The former Justice and Attorney General Minister said the country is economically helpless, but there is hope in this election for a change of Government.
Prominent Constitutional lawyer, Erastus Kamburi is contesting the Ijivitari Open seat.
He says, the Province has had many missed opportunities due to political differences and PNGNP hopes to restore that loss.
PNG National Party will visit Milne Bay province for its next campaign rally.
