PNG Indonesia Meet: Extradition Treaty

Minister for Attorney General and Justice assured anIndonesian delegation today thatthe O’Neill Dion government is committed to have in place an Extradition Treaty in June this year.

Kerenga Kua announced this atthe opening of a 3 day technical officials meeting betweePNG andIndonesia in Port Moresby.

The two countries share one border and Mr. Kua saidthe treaty will provide a platform for the two countries to develop ther relationships.

TheIndonesian government has invited Prime Minister Peter O’Neill to visittheir country this year.
