August 31 is the deadline for the submission of names set by the PNG Games Secretariat for all participating provinces to comply with.
Team Central has already submitted their numerical entries on the deadline date of April 6, and now working towards submitting their names in the final entry.
With the games just two months away, the deadline for the entries by names for all provinces participating is now crucial as this is the last requirement all have to adhere to.
And Team Central has already complied with all other requirements.
They will participate in 18 of the 24 codes.
Central Province Sports Coordinator, Henry Kavana, said team preparation is on schedule, however more financial support is needed to cover all expenses.
Other provinces have not confirmed the scope of their participation in the games as yet.
PNG Games Sports Director, John Susuve, in a previous interview with EMTV Sports, said abiding by the deadlines makes it easy for the organising committee and the Games Council to organise all 22 provinces before the start of games.
Meanwhile, Teams NCD, East New Britain and host West New Britain are expected to have the highest number of around 600 or more.
